Reboot's mission is to repair and recycle non-working computers,
donating them to families, organizations or individuals who would
otherwise lack access to technology.
Starting in 2017, Westchester County, NY middle-school student Sam Nadol began repairing computers as a hobby. In 2018, he partnered with a 501(c)(3) organization working to open a school for girls in Haiti, providing them with enough laptops for their start-up efforts. Throughout that year and the next, he donated desktop systems to individuals in need throughout Westchester County, NY.
In 2020, he was awarded a Hogg Grant by his high school to scale up these efforts into what is now Reboot. In addition to individual donations, Reboot has partnered with the towns of New Castle, Bedford and South Salem to source non-working computers, parts and peripherals. If you have items you'd like to donate, click on the GIVE button to get in touch.
We have partnered with several organizations to reach individuals in need and welcome others to reach out using the GET tab to determine if we have a system that meets your needs.
Please note that, at this time, we only operate in the Westchester, NY area.
